Comprehensive Community Services (CCS)
This is a voluntary program providing services to children and adults who have mental health or substance abuse issues. Services are individualized offering an array of Red Cliff tribal and Bayfield County services. Services are client directed, recovery oriented and strengths based.
The Red Cliff CCS program provides services to Red Cliff Tribal Community Members within reservation boundaries and Bayfield County.
Services are covered by medical assistance through Wisconsin’s Comprehensive Community Services. Services are not time limited. It is the vision of CCS to support participants to achieve maximum independence, ultimately leading to discharge from CCS. Individualized criteria will be used to determine when discharge should occur.
Services offered:
- Identify issues and coordinate resources that may be available to families
- Develop a plan of care and the steps needed to complete goals
- Involve service providers, family members, school representatives and other community resources, as needed
Criteria:
- Red Cliff community member
- Eligible medical assistance
- Mental health and/or AODA diagnoses
- Prescription by physician
- Have a need for psychosocial rehabilitation services
- Eligible as determined by a Wisconsin functional screen

Coordinated Service Team
Our Coordinated Services Team (CST) assists families and children/adolescents who have multiple needs which may be related to mental health, alcohol, drug abuse, child protection, juvenile justice or special education. The families create the teams that will be most helpful to them. This personal tailoring allows for the family’s strengths to assist them in finding their own solutions in the least restrictive way possible.
Services offered:
- Identify issues and coordinate resources that may be available to families
- Develop a plan of care and the steps needed to complete goals
- Involve service providers, family members, school representatives and other community resources, as needed
Criteria:
- Enrolled member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa
- Reside on the Reservation or in the Bayfield County service area
- Currently involved in other programs with multiple needs
